Position Purpose

You are your own leader, creating a compelling vision and communicating with style and charisma. You will be responsible for executing and achieving net sales targets in line with brand objectives. Under your leadership, you will build a team of high-performance individuals to achieve and excel sales growth. As the Key Account Manager, you manage sell-in (net sales) and support brand-related functions of the business. You will be the primary contact, building and maintaining strong professional relationships with principals and customers, handling distribution of the brand or set of brands within assigned outlets, ensuring visibility, and delivering high-quality customer service to existing and potential clients. You will act as a bridge between the brand and the retail team, and you will be responsible for receivables collection and providing market feedback across functions.

What we want you to do
  • Know at all times the sales performance versus last year and versus targets for Brands-group (sell-in) and share this in monthly Sales & Marketing meetings.
  • Manage the sell-in (net sales) and support brand-related functions of the business.
  • Identify risks early and propose backup or next action plans.
  • Plan and execute monthly sell-in according to the marketing calendar.
  • Plan with the Marketing team and execute floor-level activities to achieve Brand objectives in wholesale and inventory.
  • Prepare monthly and promotional BITA (new and replenishment).
  • Collaborate with Retail Ops Team to ensure smooth sales operations on the selling floor.
  • Provide proposals and suggestions to Marketing on all sales and inventory-related matters.
  • Build and maintain good rapport with retailers/vendors, beauty advisors, supervisors, and understand store operations.
  • Ensure timely launches of new products with updated VM support.
  • Identify white space opportunities and share with brand teams for potential development or growth.
  • Analyze stock inventory levels (days) with Retail Ops and implement action plans to minimize excess.
  • Plan and execute pop-ups and clearances with support from Retail Ops and Brand Teams.
  • Meet with key retailers/buyers quarterly to review sell-in and sell-out with Retail Ops.
  • Propose action plans to Head of Sales and review quarterly sales and risk.
Key Result / Measures
  • Achieve brand sales targets (net) and ensure growth for brands.
  • Manage all brands under your care to meet brand KPIs.
  • Inventory management with right assortment based on turnover.
  • Achieve CRM targets and Known Customer %.
Who we’re looking for
  • Have a tertiary qualification or equivalent experience to perform job expectations.
  • At least 5-8 years of work experience; prior fragrance or beauty industry experience is a plus.
  • Analytical, numerically strong, meticulous, and organized with a passion for beauty or luxury products.
  • Team leader willing to share and transfer knowledge.
  • Experience in supervising subordinates is preferred.
  • Team-player with collaboration skills in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good communication and presentation skills with strong English proficiency.
