Job description

Plan, manage and oversee onboarding program of freshmen and actively support the completion team in executing student retention initiatives.

Create programs and establish partnerships to improve the capacity of students to overcome financial challenges through opportunities and access to scholarships and loans.

Design and implement programs to improve overall sense of community and purpose among the students through school events, student organizations and outreach activities among others.

Improve capacity of students to cope and overcome their personal challenges through counselling and guidance programs.

Develop programs so student leaders are formed to help their fellow students to stay in school and complete their education as well as to be productive agents of nation building.

Act as chief judicial officer who will hear, adjudicate and follow up all cases of student discipline.

Responsible for upholding and ensuring compliance with student policies which outlined in a student handbook.

Support students for external competitions in all levels - local, regional, national or international level.

Perform other inherent duties assigned by the School COO from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any field of study.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in student services, specifically in student development and leadership within a tertiary institution.
• Experience in administering campus judicial programs.
• Strong understanding of student development theories, leadership training, and organization development.
• Awareness of cultural, ethnic, and economic diversity issues affecting students.
• Strong counseling skills for addressing a wide range of student concerns.
• Excellent teaching, mediation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Demonstrated capability in managing workload and meeting timelines
