Job description

Perform regular preventive maintenance checks on network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, access points, etc.).

Monitor device health, system logs, and performance indicators to detect early signs of issues.

Ensure firmware, patches, and configuration updates are properly implemented as instructed.

Assist in testing and verifying network availability, connectivity, and redundancy.

Document preventive maintenance results, including checklists, reports, and recommendations.

Escalate identified issues or abnormalities to senior engineers for further action.

Maintain accurate inventory records of network equipment and their maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with min GPA 3,00
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).
• Familiar with common network devices and operating systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures.
