Job summary

AMODA seeks a Jr. Structural Engineer intern to design, analyze, and oversee the implementation of structural systems for diverse projects in Jakarta. The role offers a 3-month paid internship and hands-on mentorship within a Product Engineering Team.

Embarking candidates should have a Civil Engineering degree, be ready to learn, and commit to on-site work at AMODA’s Menteng office four days per week, with a hybrid arrangement including Fridays work-from-home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Willing to commit to a 3-month internship program.
• Proficiency in structural design software.
• Strong understanding of building codes such as SNI, ACI, ASCE or AISC.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles.
• Willing to work from AMODA’s office in Menteng, Central Jakarta, four days a week.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed Structural Modeling.
• Conduct load calculations and analysis.
• Coordinate with architects, other engineers, and drafters to ensure seamless integration.
• Calculate material requirements and prepare BOQ/ RAB.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest building codes, industry standards, and sustainable design practices.
