Job summary

BC STUDIO (BCENTRUM BALI) is seeking a driven Junior Structural Engineer to join our Bali-based team. You will assist senior engineers with design and analysis of structural systems, draft details, and support project coordination and site supervision.

Familiarity with SAP2000, ETABS or AutoCAD is expected, and you will collaborate with architects, contractors, and managers to meet deadlines. This is a full-time on-site role in Denpasar, Bali.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the civil/construction industry.
• Proficient in the use of structural design software, such as SAP2000, ETABS, or AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the Bali region.

Responsibilities

• Assisting senior engineers in the design and analysis of structural systems, including beams, columns, foundations, and other structural components.
• Conducting structural calculations, modelling, and analysis using relevant software tools.
• Preparing detailed structural drawings, specifications, and reports to support project delivery.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and project managers, to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry standards, building codes, and engineering best practices.
• Participating in site inspections.
