About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team at Adhitama Architects in Jakarta. As a Junior Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in conceptualising and executing exceptional interior designs that bring our clients' visions to life. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of exciting projects within the design and architecture industry.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborating with senior designers and architects to develop innovative interior design concepts
• Producing detailed design drawings, 3D visualisations and mood boards to effectively communicate design ideas
• Selecting and specifying materials, finishes, furniture and fixtures that align with the design vision
• Coordinating with project teams to ensure seamless implementation of interior designs
• Providing on‑site support and oversight during the construction and installation phases
• Continuously researching industry trends and best practices to enhance your design skills

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in an interior design role, preferably within a design studio or architectural firm
• Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop
• Working knowledge of material & finishes for the local market
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with clients and project teams
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to translate concepts into practical, functional designs
• A passion for interior design and a genuine interest in staying up‑to‑date with industry trends
