Job description

We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to support financial planning and performance analysis in a fast-growing e-commerce/startup environment. You will be involved in analyzing sales performance, cost structure, profitability, and operational metrics while assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations

Analyze sales performance, margins, and cash flow metrics

Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring

Track and analyze operational costs, marketing spend, and campaign effectiveness

Perform variance analysis between actual vs budget/forecast

Maintain and improve financial models for business projections

Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to provide financial insights

Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decisions

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Data Science

Experience

1–3 years of experience in finance, analytics, or related roles

Experience or internship in startup, e-commerce, fintech, or digital business is a plus

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (lookup, pivot table, formulas)

Basic understanding of financial statements (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet)

Familiar with financial modeling & forecasting is a plus

Strong analytical and numerical thinking

High attention to detail with good problem-solving skills

Understanding of e-commerce business models and unit economics

Ability to translate data into actionable business insights

Nice to Have (Optional)

Experience using ERP or accounting software
