Job summary

PT SMT Indonesia in Cikarang, West Java, is seeking an Accounting & Finance Staff to support daily financial transactions, maintain records in our ERP system, and assist with month-end closing.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, is detail-oriented, proficient in Excel, and able to work independently as well as in a team, with good communication and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1 year of relevant experience is an advantage.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial transactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and well-organized.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Exposure to AP, AR, GL, Inventory or Cost Accounting, monthly closing, and financial reporting is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Indonesian taxation is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily Finance & Accounting transactions, including AP, AR, GL, invoice verification, and payment processing.
• Record financial transactions accurately and promptly in the ERP or accounting system.
• Reconcile bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger accounts.
• Support monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with transactions related to inventory, fixed assets, and manufacturing costs.
• Support tax reporting, audit requirements, and financial data preparation.
• Coordinate with related departments to ensure smooth business operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
