Job description

Responsibilities

• Handle semen analysis, sperm preparation, selection and culture of oocytes and embryos, freeze/thaw embryos and carry out ICSI and other types of ART procedures when required.
• Assist in all other aspects of the IVF laboratory, including its maintenance, cleanliness, sterility, and the ordering, purchasing and keeping stock of consumables and frozen gametes.
• Keep abreast of reproductive technologies and techniques by reading journals and participating in conferences, some of which will be sponsored.
• Assist in the Donor Programme, including recruitment of new donors and updating of blood tests.
• Commit to producing good fertilisation and pregnancy rates.
• Assist in data analysis for all ART relevant statistics.
• Assist in quality assurance activities of the lab.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Applicants must possess at least a BSc in Biomedical Sciences / Biotechnology or an equivalent degree.
• Preferably candidates with a minimum of one (1) year of related experience; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Be computer‑literate with skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
