OTCA is seeking a Japanese Tutor to join our remote team. The role requires a solid background in Japanese language education and strong JLPT/JFT credentials. Flexibility for evening classes and online delivery is essential.

Ideal candidates are graduates in Japanese studies or related fields, fluent in Japanese, and comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet, and Google Drive. Fresh graduates and current students with certification are welcome to apply.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Japanese field.
• JLPT/JFT certification must be current; N3 or A2 required.
• JLPT N2 is preferred.
• Fluent in spoken and written Japanese.
• Able to teach evening classes.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Openness to Kenshuu internship/training in Japan welcomed.

Responsabilidades

• Teach OTCA’s regular classes, especially evening sessions.
• Prepare lesson plans and materials.
• Support student progress and provide feedback.
• Familiar with online teaching tools.

OTCA is currently looking for a Japanese Tutor to join our team!

For this role, we’re looking for someone who:

• Has a Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language Education, Japanese Studies, Japanese Literature, or a related field


• Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply! Current students are also welcome as long as they have JLPT N3 or JFT Basic A2 certification


• Has at least JLPT N3 or JFT Basic A2, but JLPT N2 is preferred.


• Is fluent in spoken and written Japanese


• Is available to teach OTCA’s regular classes, especially evening classes


• Has teaching experience (preferred)


• Ex-kenshuu with internship/training experience in Japan are also welcome to apply


• Is familiar with Zoom/Google Meet and Google Drive


• Passionate about teaching and working with students


• Disciplined, patient, responsible, and has good communication & leadership skills
