Job summary

RINA is recruiting for a South Asia Pacific Marine Consulting Project Manager/Naval Architect to join our Jakarta office. The role blends project management with hands-on naval architecture work to deliver high-quality marine projects in accordance with RINA's standards.

The successful candidate will have 5–10 years of PM and engineering experience, a Master’s in Naval Engineering, and a track record in design feasibility, FEA, and class-approval processes.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in project management and naval engineering roles.
• Experience with concept- & basic-design, FEA analyses, and 3D/2D modelling.
• Strong knowledge of class approval processes and rules & regulations.
• Proficiency in applying engineering principles to develop project deliverables.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for clients on assigned projects.
• Develop and manage project schedules, cost plans, and resource allocations.
• Perform or supervise naval architecture calculations, such as stability checks.
• Perform or supervise ship surveys and design feasibility studies.
• Prepare accurate technical reports and ensure timely invoicing.
