Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance our IT infrastructure across data centre and enterprise environments. You will ensure high availability, security, and operational excellence while collaborating with cybersecurity teams and vendors.

The role involves managing Windows Server and Linux environments, virtualization platforms, storage, DR, networks, and incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of IT infrastructure experience in system administration or operations.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve IT infrastructure for high availability across data centre and enterprise environments.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers and related services.
• Support virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V/Nutanix) and storage backups.
• Monitor performance, capacity, security, and patch management.
• Manage DR, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure policy compliance.
• Document configurations, SOPs, and project migrations.

Your role at a glance

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on IT Systems Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence across data centre and enterprise environments.

What we are looking for

• Manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and operating systems.
• Administer Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Support virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, availability, and security.
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity management solutions.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Support network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
• Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, system migrations, data centre deployments, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.

Required Skills and Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, System Administration, or IT Operations.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Windows Server administration
  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
  • VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms
  • Enterprise storage and backup solutions
  • Network technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching)
  • Firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco
  • Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
• Experience with vulnerability management and cybersecurity best practices.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and service management principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
