A fast-growing media company in Jakarta is seeking a Technical Support Engineer. The role involves managing computer peripherals, providing technical assistance, and ensuring network security. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience and relevant IT certifications. Strong communication skills and fluency in English are preferred. Report to People Culture Manager.
Manage all the nitty-gritties of the computer peripherals, including hardware, software, and networks.
Engineer desktop optimization to enable the best user experience possible.
Provide technical assistance to the users, both on-site and remotely.
Stay on top of hardware and software trends, and implement the same in the form of effective solutions.
Maintain computer networks, ensure their optimum security, and solve any technical or hardware glitches that might arise within the scope of the desktop engineer role.
Impart basic training to the end users about Company system and application.
Have experience minimum 2 year at the same area.
Hold IT Certification (Networking, Security, Applications, IT System) would be advantageous.
Keen on detailed and have good analytical and critical thinking in assessing problem.
Able to effectively team-work and cross-teamwork.
Have good communication skills and deal with people at all departments professionally.
Should be proactive and self-motivated team player.
Have can do attitude, adaptability, independent, honestly, role-model and discipline.
Proficient and update with Microsoft Office applications, IT system, security and networking.
Fluency in English both verbal and written is preferred.
