About the role

We are seeking a talented IT QA Manager to join our dynamic team at PT Fata Organa Solusi. As a IT QA Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing our QA strategy, ensuring that all our products—from sophisticated AI models to user-friendly web applications—meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable testing solutions, ensuring product reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures for our web applications and AI/ML projects.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all QA-related matters, communicating test status, risks, and quality reports to stakeholders (including clients and senior management).
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and project management teams to integrate QA best practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
• Communicate directly with our Japanese clients to understand their quality requirements and feedback, ensuring that all deliverables align with their standards and expectations.
• Drive the adoption of new testing technologies and methodologies, particularly in the areas of AI and web application performance.
• Monitor and report on key QA metrics and project quality to stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• Fluent in English at a professional level.
• Proven experience as a QA Manager or in a similar leadership role, with a strong background in software quality assurance.
• Demonstrated experience with testing web applications and understanding of modern web technologies.
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in leading and managing a team of QA professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly.

Advantageous if

• Experience working with Japanese clients or a strong understanding of Japanese business culture and communication styles.
• Minimum N3 for Japanese language proficiency.
• Experience in testing AI/ML models and pipelines.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks.
• Experience in IT project management.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ISTQB).
