Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Vision: Define the long-term vision, strategy, and business case for the assigned IT product, aligning it with overall corporate and technical objectives.
- Roadmap Ownership: Develop, prioritize, and manage a clear, outcome-driven product roadmap based on data analysis, user feedback, and ROI (Return on Investment).
- Requirements & User Stories: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and translate them into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications for the engineering team.
- Agile Execution: Serve as the Product Owner in an Agile Scrum or Kanban environment, managing the product backlog, participating in sprints, and driving feature delivery from concept to launch.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage communication and expectations across technical, operational, and executive teams, acting as the primary subject matter expert for the product.
- Performance & Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics (e.g., adoption rate, stability, TCO) to measure product performance and inform future iterations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of progressive experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Owner, or similar role, specifically managing IT platforms, enterprise software, or technical services.
- Technical Acumen: Strong working knowledge of software development processes (SDLC), technical architecture, cloud concepts, and integration principles. Ability to converse confidently with engineers.
- Methodology: Expertise in Agile development practices, including story mapping, backlog grooming, and release planning.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in using data analytics, SQL, or other reporting tools to analyze product usage, identify trends, and make data-backed product decisions.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
