Job Overview
Perform daily procurement activities related to IT commodities, including sourcing, supplier analysis, contract management, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct end‑to‑end sourcing processes: develop sourcing strategy, review RFPs, perform due diligence, research vendors, evaluate proposals, prep comparison sheets, and manage contract deliverables.
- Develop sourcing strategies based on supplier and industry analysis, cost‑structure benchmarks, and strategic initiatives for assigned commodities.
- Ensure procurement process compliance, maintain high customer satisfaction, and control spend to achieve long‑term cost savings.
- Utilize procurement software/tools for process streamlining and data analysis.
- Collaborate with finance and other teams to align procurement activities with efficiency goals.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to procurement flow, policies, and procedures.
- Address vendor issues to maintain service delivery and long‑term relationships.
- Review third‑party agreements, improve supply base competitiveness, and consolidate contracts for commercial outcomes.
- Conduct vendor audits and evaluate performance based on key business criteria.
- Identify and communicate with key stakeholders; gather and analyze procurement flow, policies, and procedures.
- Assist business departments with process improvement, business process modeling, and maintain documentation and approvals for projects.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in procurement / supply chain, with at least 3 years as senior buyer/sourcing in IT commodities.
- Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in Coupa is an added value.
- Strong stakeholder analysis and solution delivery capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong team player.
