What you will do:
  • Provide first-line technical support for IT-related issues
  • Perform basic database queries and data extraction from PostgreSQL or MySQL to support troubleshooting, reporting, and user requests.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems for users.
  • Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system accurately.
  • Assist users in setting up and configuring new hardware and software.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to escalate unresolved issues.
  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance on IT equipment.
  • Provide guidance and training to users on IT systems and applications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role
  • Proficiency in SQL for database management and query development
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on user satisfaction
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
