Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced IT and Network Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of IT and network infrastructure for our state-of-the-art colocation facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our data center networks, while also providing exceptional technical support to our valued colocation customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of IT and network professionals
• Develop and implement strategic plans for IT and network infrastructure, including capacity planning, technology roadmap development, and budget management.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of our data center networks, including high-speed internet connectivity, core switching, routing, and security systems.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices for data center security, compliance, and disaster recovery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key technology vendors and partners (ISPs/Telcoms).
• Provide technical support and guidance to colocation clients regarding network connectivity and IT infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Implement and maintain IT documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide mentorship to IT and network staff.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest IT and data center technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Lead and manage all ISPs and Telco relations with efforts to increase network density in all our datacenters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center network operations and IT infrastructure management.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of IT professionals.
• In-depth knowledge of data center network design, implementation, and security best practices.
• Have professional certification (CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIP, MTCNA, etc) is a Plus
• Strong understanding of colocation industry needs and service delivery models.
• Experience with network protocols, routing, switching, and firewalls. (MPLS, OSPF, BGP, Advanced Network Routing, L2 / VLAN , SDN Concept, VPN, Basic Virtualization)
• Deep Understanding with Tunneling Connection (IPSec, GRE, EoIP)
• Familiar with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Network and Security Devices
• Experience in VMware, NSX and SDN Network is a Plus
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
