Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain the SQL & Oracle database.
• Responsible for developing and implementing database backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues to contribute to continuous improvement.
• Develop, implement, and manage database security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 3 – 4 year work experience as a Database Administrator (middle - senior level).
• Experience in SQL & Oracle Database environment (Installation, Design & Configuration, Performance Fine Tuning, Backup / RMAN Scripting, Disaster Recovery Setup, Clustering / RAC, Replication and failover using Dataguard / Golden Gate).
• Good knowledge in Linux RHEL environment / ability to conduct basic configuration / troubleshooting such as customizing file permission, mount point, cronjob, resource monitoring, security hardening etc.
• Familiarity with Backup Software Commvault or Veritas Netbackup.
• Knowledge of shell scripting & automation.
• Excellent Communications & Problem Solving Skills.
• Additional: Prefer to have experience using other Oracle Technology such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Web Logic, etc and prefer to have Oracle Certification (OCA/OCP).
