Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Provide vision and direction for the IT Audit department, aligning its activities with the company's overall business objectives and risk management strategy.
• Comprehensive IT Audit Planning: Develop and implement a robust IT audit plan that prioritizes critical areas like IT security, data integrity, access controls, and disaster recovery.
• Hands-on IT Audits: Conduct in-depth assessments of IT controls to identify potential vulnerabilities and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Risk Mitigation Pro: Identify IT risks, analyze their impact on the organization, and propose actionable recommendations and mitigation strategies.
• Clear Communication: Prepare clear and concise audit reports, effectively communicating findings, recommendations, and action plans to management.
• Mentorship and Coaching: Lead and manage a team of IT auditors, providing coaching, mentoring, and ensuring adherence to professional auditing standards.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current on the latest IT audit methodologies, tools, and regulations, ensuring the team utilizes the most effective approaches.
• Collaboration is Key: Foster strong relationships with IT and other departments to facilitate collaboration and information exchange during audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or CISA certification a plus).
• Minimum12 years of experience in IT audit, preferably within a large and complex organization.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing IT audit teams (Big 4 experience highly valued).
• Strong understanding of IT controls, risk management frameworks (COBIT, COSO, etc.), and IT audit methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and industry-standard IT audit software.
