IT Application Developer - Manufacturing

Our client, a European-based manufacturing company specializing in the automotive safety systems, is currently looking for an IT Application Developer (lead engineer) with details as below.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of IT applications to support business operations and digital transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Oversee the full application development lifecycle — including architecture design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Drive improvements in data analytics and business intelligence reporting using Power BI and related tools.
• Manage and mentor a small team of developers or project contributors to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
• Coordinate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure system integrity, security, and alignment with organizational standards.
• Provide technical leadership in areas of .NET, SQL, and data analytics, ensuring best practices and optimal performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in software development processes, documentation, and governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software/application development, preferably in a manufacturing or multinational environment.
• Proficient in .NET framework, SQL, and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Strong understanding of project management principles and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal (MUST).
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and work collaboratively across departments.
• Point plus: Knowledge of IT security policies, governance, and compliance best practices.
