Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Indonesia is looking for an experienced Investment Analyst based in South Jakarta. The role involves managing end-to-end M&A transactions, building financial models to support strategic decisions, and performing market assessments. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field and have at least three years of investment experience, preferably in a Corporate Finance or M&A team. Strong analytical and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in investment roles.
  • Prior experience in Corporate Finance with a Big 4 M&A team or Private Equity is preferred.
  • Strong capability in valuation methodologies including DCF and comparables.

Investment Analyst - South Jakarta - WFO

Manage end to end M&A transactions, including due diligence, financial evaluation, deal structuring, and preparation of transaction documentation.

Build and evaluate sophisticated financial models to support strategic and investment decisions.

Perform market assessments, industry analysis, and evaluate prevailing market trends.

Structure transactions effectively, taking into account financial, tax, and legal considerations.

Coordinate and oversee cross‑functional initiatives as part of the Project Management Office (PMO).

Develop high‑quality reports and presentations for senior management and investors.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

Experience of at least 3 (three) years in investment roles.

Prior experience in Corporate Finance, preferably within the M&A team of a Big 4 firm or a Private Equity organization.

Strong capability in financial modelling and valuation methodologies, including DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transaction analyses.

Good understanding of legal frameworks related to mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment while handling multiple assignments concurrently.

Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
