The role involves developing risk-based audit programs for both Head Office and regional channels, planning engagements, and conducting audits to assess governance, risk management, and internal controls.

The position focuses on delivering accurate reports, ensuring timely follow-up on recommendations, and promoting improvements in processes, tools, and auditor competencies within a Sharia-compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Banking experience in Audit, Risk Management or Compliance is preferred.
• Holding a Risk Management Certification is required; auditing certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop risk-based annual audit programs for Region & Channel and Head Office.
• Prepare engagement plans based on risk assessments and allocate audit resources efficiently.
• Conduct audits to evaluate governance, risk management, and internal controls, with recommendations for improvements.
• Prepare accurate audit reports and executive summaries in a timely manner.
• Manage and safeguard audit documentation and track implementation of recommendations.
• Propose improvements to audit processes, tools, and procedures, and enhance auditor competencies.
• Communicate and coordinate with business units to improve governance and internal controls.
