Responsibilities

• Provides instrument construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning expertise for safe and high-quality execution of the instrument construction, pre-comm/comm scope of work in accordance with project deliverables and execution schedule.
• Guides EPC Contractor\'s instrument construction, pre-comm/comm activities, including vendors, subcontractor resources, personnel qualifications, usage of appropriate tools; adherence to project objectives, requirements, specifications, and verification processes.
• Reviews instrument project and vendor deliverables (instrument datasheet, calculation sheet, drawings, ITP, etc.) as per project specification.
• Manages instrument discipline deliverables updates/relines and supports field engineering where needed in support of construction, pre-comm/comm activities; develops short-term mitigation plans to achieve intermediate milestones and define scope for final completions.
• Responsible for following up and ensuring schedule and related milestones are achieved; provides data, identifies material & skills gaps, and develops recovery plans to address any schedule delays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree (S1) in Instrument/Electrical/Physics Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in medium/large petrochemical/oil & gas or similar projects (Medium/Large project).
• Competence in working within the C&I (control & instrument) discipline in field instrument types and their applications in the petrochemical industry.
• Experience with Instrument Standards: IEE, IEEC.
• Proven ability in equipment specification and selection and ensuring supplier compliance, preferably within an EPC contracting organization.
• Proficient in computer applications such as MS Office.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
