An international development organization in Indonesia is seeking a Short-Term Personnel consultant to improve education quality through training and mentoring programs. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in teaching development, strong classroom management skills, and be fluent in Bahasa Indonesia. INOVASI 3 is a partnership program between the Indonesian Government and the Australian Government aimed at improving the quality of student learning outcomes in basic skills (literacy, numeracy, and character) through the implementation of inclusive policies and practices in basic education. INOVASI 3 is a continuation of the INOVASI 2 program, which will be carried out in 6 provinces (West Java, East Java, North Kalimantan, Maluku, West Nusa Tenggara, and East Nusa Tenggara) from 2024 to 2027. The strategy in INOVASI 3 focuses on strengthening the education ecosystem by providing inclusive education services, guided by principles such as PDIA (Problem-Driven Iterative Adaptation), TWP (Thinking Working Politically), collaboration, locally led, diversity, inclusion, and evidence-based approaches. The primary objective of the INOVASI East Java program is to improve the quality and learning outcomes of students by enhancing teaching practices and implementing education policies that strengthen the educational ecosystem in partner districts and cities.
These programs will be implemented in Tuban and Lumajang Districts as key partners.
The Deep Learning Program is a priority initiative that requires qualified personnel capable of training and applying this approach with school supervisors, principals, and teachers. At present, INOVASI East Java lacks internal human resources with the necessary expertise to support this program, which will be piloted in 19 primary schools across three clusters in two partner districts.
INOVASI East Java needs one (1) Short‑Term Personnel (STP) consultant who will focus on:
The Program is managed by Palladium on behalf of DFAT.
Under the supervision of the Provincial Manager, the STP‑Education Quality Improvement will support the provincial team in carrying out training and mentoring the implementation of deep learning and other related activities.
