Responsibilities
Customer
Country Management, Operations Leaders,
- Advise on the operation on industrial issues.
- Undertake the initiative on complying on minimum pay and working conditions of employment for employees and employers
- Develop and administer policies on different employee classifications, wage structures and related matters
- Maintain good relationships between employers and employees
- Examine and attempt to resolve industrial disputes and grievances in the workplace,
- As the management representative or facilitator when discussions are being held with trade unions / employee representative regarding productivity
- Study and interpret relevant industrial legislation (the both national and local legislation which are impacted the industrial practices in the workplace)
- Conduct study / initiative into particular industrial relations issues (e.g. the effects of changes in work practices on productivity)
- Represent company before industrial tribunals

Education Qualification

- Professional HR Affiliations: Membership in professional HR organizations, such as the HR Institute of Management or equivalent, is preferred.
- Having Advocate Certificate
Training and Certifications
- Advocate License: Candidates must possess a valid advocate license, allowing them to practice law and represent clients in legal matters.
- Professional Certifications: While not mandatory, certifications from recognized HR organizations (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) can enhance a candidate's qualifications.
- Industrial Relations Training: Mandatory training focused on labor laws, dispute resolution, negotiation, and mediation techniques.
- Ongoing Professional Development: Participation in workshops, seminars, and conferences related to Industrial Relations and Human Resources to remain current with industry practices and legal updates.
