Job summary

You should have a Diploma in Engineering and 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with ability to read schematics and operate diagnostic tools. Shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays as required.
• Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, breakdowns, and malfunctions in a timely and effective manner.
• Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments of parts and systems according to technical specifications and safety guidelines.
• Utilize diagnostic tools, schematics, and manuals to identify root causes of problems and implement appropriate solutions.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately and completely.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with production teams and engineers to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper handling and storage of tools and equipment.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems as required.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
