Job summary

Volex seeks an Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer at our Batam site to drive process improvements in test performance and yield. You will analyze production data, implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce cycle times.

The role requires 3+ years in IE/Manufacturing, a degree in engineering, and strong analytical and communication skills; English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in IE, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Improvement, or a similar field.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Control and improve manufacturing processes related to product test performance.
• Improve and optimize product quality and yield related to test performance.
• Ensure quality improvement activities are effectively implemented and monitored.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for productivity improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time and increase efficiency.
• Monitor and improve manufacturing KPIs and operational performance.
• Support process standardization and documentation activities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to solve production and process issues.
• Perform data analysis and reporting to support process improvement projects.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and cost reduction activities.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp-up activities.
• Conduct process capability studies and improvement actions.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and manufacturing requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
