Job summary

Everbest Group is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee our Indonesia tax function, focusing on compliance, audits, risk management, and advisory. The role collaborates with Finance, Indonesia management, and Group Finance to align tax strategy with business goals.

The ideal candidate has strong Indonesian tax knowledge, retail or consumer-facing industry exposure, and the ability to provide practical guidance that supports growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field.
• 7–10 years Indonesian tax experience; manager or senior level.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and practical tax compliance.
• Proven experience managing tax audits with DJP/Tax Office.
• Experience working with external tax advisers and handling tax assessments or disputes.
• Experience supervising or reviewing the work of a tax team.
• Experience in retail, consumer-facing industries preferred.
• Strong commercial and business understanding.
• Good understanding of financial statements and business performance.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Professional accounting or tax qualification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Indonesia tax compliance to ensure timely filings.
• Lead tax audits and tax authority enquiries with DJP.
• Coordinate with Group Finance on tax matters and assessments.
• Provide practical tax advice to support business objectives.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess impact on the business.
• Escalate significant tax risks and exposures to management.
