Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an Overseas Investment Manager (Industrial Gas) to identify and execute international investment opportunities across markets. You will lead market analysis, due diligence, financial modeling, and cross-border project execution with input from legal, finance, engineering, and executives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, experience in overseas investment or cross-border M&A, strong English, and willingness to travel frequently.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Admin, Engineering, International Business, or related field.
Proven experience in overseas investment, cross-border M&A, intl. business development, corporate strategy, or investment management.
Strong understanding of financial modeling, investment analysis, project valuation, due diligence, and risk assessment methodologies.
Experience in industrial gas, energy, engineering, manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors is highly preferred.
Familiarity with industrial gas tech, air separation plants, engineering projects, or related processes is an advantage.
Strong analytical capabilities to assess macroeconomic trends, industry dynamics, regulatory environments, and investment risks.
Excellent commercial negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills.
Strong business writing and presentation skills for investment reports and executive proposals.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, esp. Excel and PowerPoint.
Professional working proficiency in English is mandatory.
Willingness to travel internationally frequently.

Responsibilities

Conduct research on investment regulations, market developments, and industrial policies across target markets.
Analyze investment environments, regulations, risks; prepare market intelligence reports.
Identify and pursue overseas investment opportunities aligning with expansion objectives.
Lead commercial due diligence, feasibility studies, and investment evaluations.
Prepare investment proposals, business cases, and agreements for internal approvals.
Develop financial models, profitability assessments, valuation analyses, risk evaluations.
Collaborate with legal, finance, engineering, and technical teams through negotiations and closing.
Coordinate with external advisors (law firms, banks, govt agencies) for establishment and approvals.
Participate in negotiations, contract execution, and project handovers.
Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to guide strategic planning.
