They are currently seeking a creative and skilled Ice Cream Chef to develop and produce premium, handcrafted ice cream creations that complement the brand's distinctive menu and elevate the guest experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Ice Cream Chef, Gelato Chef, or Pastry Chef in premium or artisanal dessert concepts outlets in Bali or Indonesia.
- Strong knowledge of ice cream and gelato production techniques, balancing, and ingredient functionality.
- Creative flair with a strong sense of flavour development, texture, and presentation.
- Experience working in a modern, high-volume, or pre-opening environment is an advantage.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and contribute to product innovation.
- Strong commitment to quality, consistency, and brand standards.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and refine artisanal ice cream and gelato recipes that reflect the brand's creative and modern culinary concept.
- Oversee daily production to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with the culinary and beverage teams to create unique flavour pairings and menu integrations.
- Manage ingredient sourcing, stock levels, and production schedules to ensure optimal efficiency and minimal waste.
- Stay updated with global dessert and gelato trends to continuously innovate and elevate the product offering.
- Train and supervise junior staff on ice cream preparation techniques, quality control, and presentation standards.
- Maintain equipment and production areas in excellent working condition and compliance with food safety regulations.
