About the job Human Resource Development Head

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Human Resource Development (HRD) Talent Specialist to join our client growing team in Makassar. This role will play a key function in developing and implementing talent management initiatives, focusing on training and development programs for our client employees. While experience in HR generalist is a plus, a strong focus on talent management and training is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training and development programs aligned with company goals and employee needs.
  • Identify training needs through performance appraisals, skills gap analysis, and feedback from managers and employees.
  • Source and select qualified trainers and vendors to deliver training programs.
  • Manage the training budget and track the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Develop and maintain a learning management system (LMS) or training resources library.
  • Support the implementation of career development plans for employees.
  • Conduct onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Assist with talent acquisition efforts by developing employer branding materials and participating in recruitment activities (advantageous with HR generalist experience).
  • Stay updated on the latest HR trends and best practices in talent management and training & development.
  • Maintain accurate training records and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Training & Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a talent management or training & development role.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to identify training needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems (advantageous).
  • Experience in HR generalist functions is a plus.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
