Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of HR experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role; hospitality background preferred.
  • Flexible, hands-on, and comfortable being the primary HR authority in a growing SME environment.
  • Willingness to relocate to Nusa Lembongan or commute at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance with Indonesian labor law.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, and maintenance of employee records.
  • Coordinate employee work schedules in coordination with Department Heads.
  • Manage and process payroll in coordination with Accounting.
  • Design, coordinate, and monitor training and development programs.
  • Plan, execute, and document performance reviews in collaboration with Department Heads.

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a full-time HR Manager role on the beautiful island of Lembongan, Bali? We’re seeking a proactive and people-oriented individual to join our team at Dream Beach Huts and take ownership of our HR function. As our first dedicated HR Manager, you'll independently manage the full HR cycle, shaping systems and culture that support our 90 employees across hotel and boat operations.

What you’ll be doing
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance with Indonesian labor law
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, and maintenance of employee records
  • Coordinate employee work schedules (including shift planning, attendance tracking, and timekeeping records) in coordination with Department Heads
  • Manage and process payroll in coordination with Accounting
  • Design, coordinate, and monitor training and development programs
  • Plan, execute, and document performance reviews in collaboration with Department Heads
  • Support implementation and monitoring of SOPs and training initiatives
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Thorough knowledge of Indonesian Labor Law and HR best practices
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
  • At least 5 years of HR experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role; hospitality background preferred
  • Flexible, hands‑on, and comfortable being the primary HR authority in a growing SME environment
  • Willingness to relocate to Nusa Lembongan or commute at least 3 days per week
