Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Banten, Indonesia is seeking a Strategic HR Officer to act as a strategic partner for production and operational departments. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related fields, with 2–4 years of HR experience in manufacturing. Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic HR partner for production and operational departments
  • Support manpower planning, workforce productivity, and organizational effectiveness
  • Assist in performance management processes and KPI monitoring
  • Handle employee relations cases, discipline issues, and grievance management
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations, company policies, and social compliance standards (e.g. ETI Base Code, SMETA, BSCI)
  • Support HR audits (social compliance, ISO-related people requirements)
  • Collaborate with line managers on employee engagement and improvement initiatives
  • Analyze HR data such as absenteeism, turnover, and discipline trends to provide actionable insights
  • Support change management initiatives and leadership development at supervisor level
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Law, or related field
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in HR, preferably in manufacturing or labor-intensive industries
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor law and industrial relations practices
  • Experience handling shopfloor-level HR issues is a must
  • Good understanding of HRBP concepts and people management in operations
  • Familiar with social compliance audits and manufacturing work environments
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to work independently and handle pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS is an advantage
