Job summary

Villa Colony Club in Bali is seeking an experienced Housekeeper / Laundry Assistant for a full-time role to maintain a luxurious private villa and manage light laundry tasks.

You will work closely with the Villa Manager to ensure immaculate guest environments, handling bedrooms, bathrooms, linen care and daily housekeeping for owners and guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum two to three years of professional housekeeping experience in a luxury villa, private residence or four- or five-star hotel.
• Practical laundry experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of luxury housekeeping standards.
• Ability to clean and prepare guest rooms efficiently without compromising quality.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, laundry equipment and safe chemical-handling procedures.
• Good spoken English, with the ability to understand instructions and communicate with international owners and guests.
• Excellent personal presentation, grooming and hygiene.
• Honest, trustworthy, discreet and respectful of confidentiality.
• Hardworking, organised, punctual and able to manage time effectively.
• Able to work independently and cooperate effectively with the wider villa team.
• Physically fit and capable of performing normal housekeeping duties.
• Flexible and willing to work weekends and public holidays when scheduled.
• Must live within a reasonable travelling distance of Canggu or be willing to relocate nearby
• Verifiable references from previous employers are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas and all other areas of the villa to a luxury standard.
• Make beds and prepare bedrooms according to the villa’s required presentation standards.
• Clean bathrooms thoroughly and replenish towels, toiletries and guest amenities.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, polish and sanitise surfaces throughout the villa.
• Wash, dry and iron basic laundry items, such as towels.
• Prepare high-quality linens and delicate items to be sent to a professional laundry or dry cleaner.
• Maintain organised linen cupboards, wardrobes, storage areas and laundry supplies.
• Monitor cleaning products, toiletries, guest amenities and linen stocks, and report when replacements are required.
• Prepare the villa before the arrival of the owners or guests and provide daily housekeeping service during their stay.
• Report maintenance problems, damage, breakages or missing items promptly to the Villa Manager.
• Use cleaning chemicals and laundry equipment correctly and in accordance with safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the laundry room, housekeeping areas and staff workspaces.
• Respect the privacy of the owners and guests and maintain complete discretion and confidentiality.
• Assist with other reasonable villa duties when required.

We are seeking an experienced, professional and highly reliable Housekeeper / Laundry Assistant to join our team at a brand-new private luxury villa in Canggu, Bali.

This combined role is ideal for someone with experience working in a luxury villa, private residence or five-star hotel who takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and fabric care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and presenting the villa to the highest standard while also managing light laundry duties. You will work closely with the Villa Manager and other members of the villa housekeeping team to ensure the property is always beautifully maintained and ready for the owners and their guests.

Employment Conditions and Benefits

• Monthly salary of Rp 5.000.000–Rp 6.500.000, depending on experience and ability.
• BPJS.
