About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer‑focused Host to join our team at The Union Group in Jakarta. As a Host, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience to all our guests, ensuring they feel valued and catered for from the moment they step through our doors. This full‑time position will see you playing a vital role in delivering exceptional service and contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

What you're going to do

• Greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Seating guests and managing the flow of customers through the restaurant
• Answering guest enquiries and providing information about our menu, services and facilities
• Assisting with reservations and managing the waiting list as required
• Liaising with the waitstaff to ensure seamless service delivery
• Maintaining a clean and well‑organised front‑of‑house area
• Contributing to a positive work environment and excellent team dynamics

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a Host or in a customer‑facing role within the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanour
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English
• A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
