Job summary

A reputable logistics company in Indonesia is looking for a Safety Officer to develop and implement HSE programs, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English is required, and Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• 2-3 years of experience in the HSE field, preferably in logistics.
• Possession of General OHS certification / SMK3 / HSE Officer certification is an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE programs within the company.
• Conduct routine HSE inspections and audits in the workplace.
• Identify potential hazards, analyze risks, and provide improvement recommendations.
• Deliver training and socialization related to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) to employees.
• Prepare accident reports, incident investigations, and follow-up corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OHS, environmental regulations, and company standards.
• Ensure all employees/partners are covered by health and work accident insurance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Fluent in English (Active and Passive).
• Fluent in Mandarin is a Plus.
• 2-3 years of experience in the HSE field (preferably in the logistics industry).
• Possession of General OHS certification / SMK3 / HSE Officer certification is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of OHS and Environmental regulations in accordance with Indonesian law.
• Good communication skills, detail-oriented, and strong leadership abilities.
