Job summary

A leading agricultural company based in Jakarta is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment Head to manage their EHS programs. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience in HSE management, with a focus on developing improvement programs and safety culture. A Master’s degree in a related field and strong knowledge of local HSE regulations are essential. Managing the EHS program that has been set by Wilmar Group & Indonesia (High Risk Work, CSMS, Machine Guard, big data platform, Spill Prevention, Environmental Metric, BBS, internal audit, Sites Environmental Permit and comliances etc.), as well as made realization and gap analysis program for overcome the lagging aspect.

Created and designed a practicable safety campaign.

Identifying all EHS aspects area which need further improved throughout unit Indonesia, according to the Wilmar Group's reference & regulatory compliance, as well as developing an applicable and measurable improvement program.

Leading units in enhancing safety culture programs, such as: specific safety programs, BBS, internal audit etc as part as incident prevention programs

Lead and evaluate all investigative incident reports and develop an EHS Alerts/flash.

Evaluate the performance Incident Management and Environmental Metrics and propose adequate, comprehensive and doable control measures.

Produce comprehensive monthly EHS report submitted to Group.

Create and socialize accident prevention and environmental management programs.

Evaluate & developing personal EHS competencies thorough units.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in HSE management, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Experience working in multiple sectors (e.g., Palm Oil Refinery, Olechemical, Biodiesel, manufacturing, or chemicals) is often preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of local HSE laws, regulations, and Palm Oil (Downstream) industry best practices.
  • Fluency in English.
  • To be placed in Kuningan - South Jakarta.
