Job summary

A logistics management company based in Bogor, Indonesia is seeking a Head of Warehouse, Logistics & Transport to lead and oversee all operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics and 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, optimizing logistics, and reporting performance metrics. Strong proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and excellent leadership skills are required. This is a contract position with onsite responsibilities.

Job description

The Head of Warehouse, Logistics & Transport is responsible for leading and controlling end-to-end warehouse, logistics, and transportation operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and service excellence. This role holds full accountability for monthly KPI achievement and is required to present operational performance to the Principal on a monthly basis, supported by strong system integration using SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch activities.
• Manage and optimize logistics and transportation operations, including fleet management and third‑party logistics (3PL).
• Ensure inventory accuracy, stock reconciliation, and real‑time data visibility using SAP S/4HANA.
• Control and ensure achievement of monthly KPIs (service level, OTIF, lead time, logistics cost, productivity, asset utilization).
• Prepare and deliver monthly KPI and operational performance presentations to the Principal, including root cause analysis and improvement plans.
• Develop, implement, and enforce SOPs for warehouse, logistics, and transportation operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse, logistics, and transport teams.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage vendor performance, transport partners, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, and transportation management.
• Strong experience in fleet management and/or 3PL operations.
• Expert proficiency in SAP, especially SAP S/4HANA (MM, WM/EWM, Logistics).
• Proven track record in KPI‑driven operations and reporting to Principals or senior stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Results‑oriented, structured, and able to manage high operational accountability.
• Willing to work onsite and handle field operations.
