Position Summary:
The Head of Marketing Strategy & Event is responsible for leading the overall marketing direction, driving brand growth, and ensuring effective communication strategies that support business objectives. This position plays a key role in aligning marketing strategies with business goals and implementing high-impact events and campaigns that strengthen the companys positioning in the financial services market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to support business growth and financing portfolio expansion.
- Lead the marketing team in planning and executing integrated campaigns across multiple channels.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Strengthen the companys brand positioning through consistent messaging, storytelling, and customer engagement.
2. Event Management & Execution
- Plan and execute a portfolio of corporate and promotional events such as product launches, dealer gatherings, partner conventions, and brand activations.
- Oversee the end-to-end event process from concept development and budgeting to execution and evaluation.
- Ensure all events enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and contribute to business targets.
3. Marketing & Business Alignment
- Collaborate closely with sales, product, and digital teams to ensure marketing and event initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
- Leverage events and campaigns to drive customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
- Develop post-event analysis and lead management strategies to optimize ROI and conversion rates.
4. Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners, dealers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure all marketing and event activities reflect the companys brand values and service excellence.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments, management, and external agencies/vendors.
5. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the marketing and event teams to achieve performance goals.
- Foster a collaborative, creative, and results-oriented culture within the department.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for team development.
6. Budget Management & Performance Tracking
- Develop and manage marketing and event budgets, ensuring effective allocation and cost efficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate campaign and event ROI, adjusting strategies to achieve maximum impact.
- Prepare regular reports for management on marketing performance, event outcomes, and brand metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing leadership and event management, preferably within the multifinance, banking, or financial services industry.
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills with hands-on project management experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM, marketing analytics, and event management tools.
- Financial acumen with experience in budget control and ROI measurement.
