A leading technology and marketing firm in Indonesia seeks a Marketing Director to oversee the overall marketing strategy, brand management, and e-commerce operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 12+ years in marketing, with a strong emphasis on leadership and compliance. This role requires strategic thinking and interpersonal skills to drive brand growth and compliance in the e-cigarette industry.

To lead and oversee the overall marketing strategy for Brand, Activation, Creative, E-Commerce and to build strong brand equity while driving commercial growth by ensuring all marketing activities are well planned, data-driven, and fully compliant with regulations governing the e-cigarette industry in Indonesia.
Formulate and lead the company’s marketing strategy, direction, and priorities aligned with business strategy.
Develop annual marketing plans and budget frameworks that drive both brand building and commercial results.
Ensure effective alignment across functions, including Sales, Operations, Product Development, and Legal & Corporate Affairs.
Manage brand positioning, architecture, and strategy to strengthen brand awareness and competitiveness.
Lead portfolio planning and long-term brand building initiatives that deliver sustainable growth.
Monitor brand health performance (awareness, preference, equity) and translate insights into action plans.
Ensure all brand messaging reflects company values and complies with regulatory boundaries.
Plan and manage nationwide marketing activation programs in collaboration with Sales.
Ensure all promotional and below-the-line activities comply with related government regulations.
Evaluate campaign effectiveness through post-activity analysis (volume uplift, consumer engagement, ROI).
Oversee creative communication strategies (visual, digital, and offline) to ensure impactful and compliant messaging.
Manage agencies and creative teams to deliver integrated marketing content that enhances brand engagement.
Maintain brand integrity and consistency across all media platforms, ensuring all content complies with PP 109/2012, PP 28/2024, and other related regulations.
Develop digital and e-commerce marketing roadmaps that integrate brand communication and consumer conversion.
Ensure all digital promotions and online campaigns adhere to digital advertising and product distribution regulations (age gating, product display rules, etc.).
Leverage data analytics and performance metrics to drive digital visibility and sales growth.
Lead continuous market intelligence efforts: competitor tracking, trend analysis, and consumer research.
Identify opportunities for brand innovation and market expansion.
Translate insights into marketing strategies that strengthen the company’s competitive edge.
Ensure all marketing programs strictly comply with government and internal regulations related to e-cigarette communication, promotion, and distribution.
Establish internal pre-screening and approval processes for every marketing campaign or material.
Collaborate with Legal and Corporate Affairs teams to ensure regulatory compliance and avoid any issues with authorities.
Lead and develop the Marketing organization (Brand, Activation, Creative, and E-Commerce).
Build a performance-driven culture with high accountability, creativity, and compliance awareness.
Ensure succession readiness and continuous skill upgrading across all marketing teams.
