A leading agribusiness group in Indonesia is seeking a Licensing and Regulatory Affairs Manager to develop strategies for acquiring necessary permits and ensure compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in licensing, excellent communication skills, and leadership experience. This position offers a chance to work closely with various departments and government agencies to facilitate proper licensing processes. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential.
Develop and implement strategies for efficient and timely acquisition of all necessary business permits, operational licenses, and regulatory approvals.
Oversee end-to-end licensing processes: submission, follow-up, review, renewal, and compliance checks.
Ensure compliance with all local, regional, and national regulations.
Monitor regulatory changes affecting licensing requirements and advise management on necessary actions.
Ensure all licenses and permits are updated, valid, and stored properly.
Conduct regular compliance reviews to minimize regulatory risks.
Build and maintain effective relationships with government agencies, licensing authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Represent the company in external meetings, consultations, and follow-ups with public institutions.
Handle escalated issues related to licensing delays or complications.
Collaborate with legal, operations, business development, finance, HR, and other departments to support licensing needs.
Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding licensing requirements for new business initiatives or expansions.
Prepare licensing updates, reports, and dashboards for management.
Identify opportunities to improve licensing processes and reduce turnaround time.
