Job description

Determine the strategic direction, KPIs, and annual budget for Training Department, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.

Lead and direct the learning and development team to ensure the smooth execution of all technical training operations, curriculum development, and knowledge management processes.

Review and provide final approval for all new training curricula, syllabi, module materials, and the annual training calendar.

Manage the departmental budget effectively and efficiently to maximize ROI.

Evaluate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and training effectiveness reports to identify gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Develop, coach, and mentor direct subordinates, building a high-performing team of training specialists and supervisors.

Coordinate with senior management and other department to ensure training programs meet the evolving needs of the business.

Job Requirements

Minimum Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Management, Psychology, or a related field.

Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Learning & Development (L&D), training, or a related role within a Retail / Hospitality Industry.

Minimum 5 years of proven experience in leading and managing a team or department.

Professional certification in Learning & Development, Training, or Management is highly preferred.

Strong strategic skills in L&D Management, Instructional Design, Knowledge Management, and Strategic Planning.

Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with a proven ability to drive results.
