Description
As a Head of IT, your main responsibilities will include:
- Define and execute the organization's technology vision and roadmap aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with executive leadership to translate business needs into scalable technology strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing IT teams
- Oversee design and maintenance of the company's core insurance systems
- Ensure robust IT governance, architecture standards, and enterprise integration strategies across platforms and business units.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure optimal delivery from technology partners and system integrators.
- Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring system availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Establish and maintain a strong information security and compliance posture, aligned with OJK regulations, ISO 27001, and other relevant frameworks.
- Monitor IT performance metrics, budgets, and service-level agreements (SLAs) to optimize efficiency and control costs.
Profile
A successful Head of IT should have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., TOGAF, PMP, CISM, AWS/Azure Architect, ITIL) are advantageous.
- Possess >12 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Head of IT, CTO, or equivalent).
- Experience managing core insurance systems (e.g., policy admin, claims, billing) and digital channel platforms.
- Demonstrated success in technology transformation, system integration, and team leadership in a regulated environment.
- Strategic and business-oriented mindset with strong financial acumen.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong project management, vendor negotiation, and contract management skills.
- Passion for leveraging technology to deliver superior customer and agent experiences.
