As the Head of IT, you will lead and oversee end-to-end IT practices and strive for continuous improvement. This role is pivotal in driving system efficiency and innovation within the organization.

Description

As a Head of IT, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Define and execute the organization's technology vision and roadmap aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with executive leadership to translate business needs into scalable technology strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing IT teams
  • Oversee design and maintenance of the company's core insurance systems
  • Ensure robust IT governance, architecture standards, and enterprise integration strategies across platforms and business units.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure optimal delivery from technology partners and system integrators.
  • Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring system availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Establish and maintain a strong information security and compliance posture, aligned with OJK regulations, ISO 27001, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Monitor IT performance metrics, budgets, and service-level agreements (SLAs) to optimize efficiency and control costs.
Profile

A successful Head of IT should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., TOGAF, PMP, CISM, AWS/Azure Architect, ITIL) are advantageous.
  • Possess >12 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Head of IT, CTO, or equivalent).
  • Experience managing core insurance systems (e.g., policy admin, claims, billing) and digital channel platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in technology transformation, system integration, and team leadership in a regulated environment.
  • Strategic and business-oriented mindset with strong financial acumen.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong project management, vendor negotiation, and contract management skills.
  • Passion for leveraging technology to deliver superior customer and agent experiences.
