Job description
Head of Finance, Accounting & Tax for Hospitality & Property Development

The Head of Finance is responsible for leading and managing the company’s overall Finance, Accounting, and Tax functions across both the Hospitality and Property Development divisions. This role ensures strong financial governance, accurate reporting, compliance with Indonesian tax and accounting regulations, and strategic financial planning to support business growth and operational efficiency.

The position plays a critical leadership role in developing financial strategies, managing budgets and cash flow, overseeing tax compliance, and partnering with executive leadership to drive sustainable financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategy
  1. Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and long-term plans aligned with company goals.
  2. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decisions.
  3. Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance monitoring.
Accounting & Reporting
  1. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  2. Oversee consolidation of reporting for Hospitality and Development business units.
  3. Ensure compliance with PSAK, internal controls, and external audit requirements.
  4. Monitor and manage GL, AP, AR, inventory, and fixed asset functions.
Tax Compliance & Governance
  1. Oversee and ensure compliance with Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
  2. Review and supervise PPN, PPh, and annual corporate tax filings.
  3. Provide tax advisory for both Hospitality and Development transactions.
  4. Manage tax audits, disputes, and correspondence with tax authorities.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
  1. Monitor and manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risk.
  2. Oversee working capital management, including AR collection and AP schedule.
  3. Review and control payment authorization process.
Hospitality & Development Financial Oversight
  1. Implement financial controlling systems for operational villa business units.
  2. Oversee project financing, capital expenditure planning, and cost control for development projects.
  3. Coordinate with operations, project, and procurement teams to monitor budgets and cost performance.
Internal Control & Compliance
  1. Strengthen internal control systems, SOPs, and financial governance.
  2. Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and corporate governance standards.
Team Leadership & Development
  1. Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-division Finance, Accounting & Tax team.
  2. Design performance goals and build capability in each functional area.
Qualifications & Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (Master’s Degree, CPA/CA/BKP certification is a plus).
  2. Minimum 8–12 years of finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  3. Experience in Hospitality & Property Development industry is strongly preferred.
  4. Strong knowledge of PSAK, tax regulations, audit standards, and financial controls.
  5. Tax compliance and advisory.
  6. Budgeting and financial planning.
  7. Cash flow and treasury management.
  8. Strong analytical, strategic, and decision-making skills.
  9. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  10. High integrity, discipline, and attention to detail.
