A global pulp and paper company is seeking a Public Relations Manager to manage communication functions with government and stakeholders. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 15 years of experience in external relations or forestry. Responsibilities include supervising environmental compliance, coordinating with forestry services, and maintaining stakeholder relations. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential. Carry out public relations and communication functions with government institutions, private sector, and other stakeholders.
Monitor and coordinate with internal and external parties regarding the fulfillment of forestry technical personnel (GANIS) through regular training and refresher programs.
Implement publication functions related to company matters in accordance with established policies.
Supervise the implementation of the Environmental Management System to ensure minimal impact on the environment in compliance with applicable regulations.
Maintain good relationships with technical agencies, internal departments, and all stakeholders.
Prepare licensing documents and external reports, as well as support boundary activities and monitoring of HTI (Industrial Plantation Forest) development.
Coordinate with District and Provincial Forestry Services regarding HTI development.
Conduct monitoring, evaluation, and review of External Relation function work programs, including external document administration and licensing legality.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Forestry, Law, or Communication).
At least 15 years of experience in external relations, licensing, or forestry.
Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Good understanding of forestry, environmental, and licensing regulations, particularly in Industrial Plantation Forests.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Strong leadership qualities and high integrity.
