About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Head Chef Akasa to join Culinary in Jumeirah Bali. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Lead, plan, and execute all kitchen operations for Akasa, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.
  • Maintain high levels of food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Manage, train, and mentor the culinary team, fostering creativity and discipline.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and HR for recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor and manage food costs, waste control, and portion standards to achieve budget targets.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and cleanliness of the work environment.
  • Enforce HACCP and hotel hygiene standards at all times.
  • Engage with guests during special events or Chef’s Table experiences to showcase culinary artistry.
  • Innovate new dishes and themed menus to elevate the Akasa dining experience.
