Job summary

JAPFA is seeking a dedicated Heavy Combination (HC) Van Driver to safely transport chicks in the Baturiti region. You will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws, animal welfare guidelines, and company policies.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, load/unload duties, accurate delivery records, coordination with dispatchers, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Valid HC driver's license in Indonesia.
• Minimum 2 years experience driving heavy vehicles.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
• Willingness to relocate to the Baturiti area.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy combination (HC) vans safely and efficiently for the transportation of chicks.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company regulations, and animal welfare guidelines during transport.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
• Load and unload chicks carefully, ensuring their well-being and minimizing stress.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, farm managers, and other team members.
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
• Handle unexpected situations on the road professionally and safely.
