Job summary

A leading education provider in Jakarta is looking for a Temporary Primary Music Teacher to develop and implement engaging guitar lesson plans for children aged 4–15. The role requires at least 5 years of teaching experience in a music school or private setting, with strong communication and adaptability skills. The teacher will also train other educators and collaborate closely with the curriculum team. Rockschool certification is preferred, and ongoing curriculum improvement is essential.

Responsibility

Develop engaging, age‑appropriate guitar lesson plans for children (4–15 years old).

Align curriculum with learning goals, developmental milestones, and the organization’s teaching philosophy.

Ensure the curriculum is implemented consistently across all locations.

Train teachers to deliver the curriculum effectively.

Collect feedback from coaches and parents to evaluate curriculum performance.

Continuously improve the curriculum based on data and feedback.

Collaborate with the curriculum manager, coaches, and operations team to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with overall goals.

Requirements

Having at least 5 years of experience teaching guitar in a music school or private setting (experience teaching children aged 4–15 is highly preferred).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Able to adapt to new educational trends.

Familiar with/have Rockschool certification (Grade 8 would be preferred).
