About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced External Affairs professional to join our team at PT. HLI Green Power in Karawang, West Java. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s external communications, stakeholder engagement, and government relations initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective external affairs strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and industry partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all external communications, managing media inquiries, public events, and other outreach initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze relevant government policies, regulations, and political developments that may impact the company’s operations, and provide timely recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with the company’s brand and values.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance the company’s reputation and visibility within the local community, such as sponsorships, partnerships, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other relevant forums to showcase our expertise and thought leadership.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar external affairs or government relations role, preferably within a manufacturing company.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with government officials, community stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex political and regulatory environments.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Proactive and collaborative approach, with a commitment to achieving the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Fluent in English is a must.

Monday to Friday (08:00 – 17:00)
